Sulla Francuska

Pizza in Saska Kępa, on the neighbourhood's main street

Bottegas on Francuska is the elegant, more intimate side of Bottegas — on the most elegant street in Saska Kępa, for a quiet dinner for two or with a few friends.

Bottegas Saska Kępa is at ul. Francuska 24, the main street of Saska Kępa in Praga-Południe — a green, quiet neighbourhood of pre-war villas and cafés on the right bank of the Vistula. PGE Narodowy and Park Skaryszewski are nearby, so it's an easy stop for pizza after a walk in the park or before a match. This is the second Bottegas, opened in 2026, with the same kitchen as the original on Oboźna.

You see the oven from the door. We open every day at 12:00, and on weekdays 12:00–16:00 is lunchtime. On the table: contemporary Neapolitan pizza from an 80%-hydration dough matured for 48 hours, baked at 485°C, plus pasta, antipasti and desserts made in house. The menu and prices are the same as at Oboźna.

This is also where the full Italian bar is: aperitivo, wines from all over Italy and cocktails, some built on Sicilian liqueurs. In summer you sit on the terrace, and dogs are welcome inside and out. For a group dinner, we'll set tables aside for you. Every seated guest starts with a piece of hot focaccia with a drop of olive oil, and the pizza goes from the oven straight to the table — from a 39 zł Margherita to the seasonal Fichi e Crudo.

Pizza to take away? Order online and collect it on Francuska. Delivery from Saska Kępa is through Glovo. Book a table online or on +48 780 465 194 — we're open until 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, until 22:00 on other days.

Saska Kępa: getting here and what's nearby

Bottegas is at ul. Francuska 24, between ul. Obrońców and ul. Królowej Aldony. The “Francuska” bus stop is right next to us. By tram, get off at Rondo Waszyngtona — from there it's about an 8-minute walk down Francuska towards Obrońców.

Park Skaryszewski, laid out between 1905 and 1916, is about a 10-minute walk away. PGE Narodowy is about a quarter of an hour. On match and concert days the room fills up fast, so book a table well ahead.

A few minutes away, on ul. Katowicka, are modernist villas from the 1920s and '30s — among them the house by Bohdan Lachert and Józef Szanajca (1928–1929), one of the first in Poland built on Le Corbusier's principles. A good walk before dinner.

A day in Saska Kępa: on weekdays, lunch from 12:00 to 16:00; at the weekend, a walk in the park and along Francuska, then aperitivo in Saska Kępa at our bar; in the evening, dinner — until 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. More ideas in our Saska Kępa guide.
